Access Terminal Box
This design is idea for the ftth application which is wall installed for fiber to the home .Duplex or Single Sc Adapter can be use meet the max 2fibers distribution .
Description
Access Terminal Box is designed to connect and protect the fiber optic cables as they enter buildings or transition between outdoor and indoor environments. The ATB provides a termination point for fiber optic cables, allowing for splicing, management, and protection of the optical fibers.
This equipment is used in FTTH systems client wiring devices, mainly used for welding into the side of the optical transmission terminals, splitting, wiring output function, can effectively be the end of the cable, protection and management, optical network transmission the required process equipment.

Key Functions of a Fiber Optic Access Terminal Box:
- Fiber Splicing: The ATB serves as a junction point for fiber splicing, where two fiber optic cables are connected.
- Cable Management: It helps organize and store the fiber optic cables to ensure they are not bent beyond acceptable limits, preventing signal loss or damage.
- Connection Point: Provides a safe termination point for cables as they transition between the outside plant (OSP) and internal cabling.
- Protection: Protects the fibers from environmental damage, such as moisture, dust, and mechanical stress.
- Distribution: Allows the distribution of fiber connections to multiple end users, typically in multi-dwelling units (MDUs) or commercial buildings.
Common Applications:
- FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks
- Commercial Buildings
- Telecommunications
- Data Centers
Components Inside an ATB:
- Fiber Splice Trays: Used to hold the spliced fibers securely.
- Fiber Adapters and Connectors: Facilitate the connection of fibers without fusion splicing.
- Cable Management Accessories: Include loops, clamps, and other parts that keep the fibers organized and secure.
