ADSS Dead End Tension Assembly Clamp

INSTRUCTION:

1. In the tower, a tower, with a terminal Angle (elevation) is greater than 25 ° tower and tower of the connection. The specific configuration is: terminal tower — –1 set/tower;Tension tower — –2 sets/tower;Connecting tower — –2 sets/tower.
2. According to cable diameter, cable maximum allowable use tension (MAT) or gear with tension cable clip, the user can choose according to the selection of the specification table suitable tension cable clip.

Description

ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) Dead-End Tension Assembly Clamp is a crucial component used in the installation of ADSS fiber optic cables, especially at termination points where the cable needs to be anchored securely. These clamps are designed to hold the cable firmly without damaging its structure, ensuring the cable remains in tension and stable over long distances.

This product is a combination of clamp, with a suspension head (each head by a rubber clamp suspension, aluminum plates, U-card, bolt, spring cushion, flat pad, nut, pin closed form), outer preformed wire, retaining preformed wire line combination. Directly preformed armour rods wrapped around the cable surface, providing protection for the cable and stiffness, protecting the line wire is preformed rubber grip clamp inserts, outer middle preformed wire cutter type of rubber from the press and hold the drum clamp, aluminum maintain its external splint.

Key Features of ADSS Dead-End Tension Assembly Clamps:

  1. All-Dielectric Construction:
    • Made entirely of non-metallic materials, these clamps are non-conductive, making them ideal for use near high-voltage power lines where electrical interference needs to be minimized.
  2. High Tensile Strength:
    • These clamps are engineered to withstand significant tensile forces, securing the ADSS cable at its endpoints without slipping or damaging the cable.
  3. Cable Compatibility:
    • Designed to accommodate various diameters of ADSS cables, ensuring a precise fit that maximizes the clamp’s effectiveness.
  4. Corrosion Resistance:
    • The materials used in these clamps are resistant to corrosion, ensuring long-term durability even in harsh environmental conditions.
  5. Vibration Resistance:
    • The design often includes features to mitigate the effects of wind-induced vibrations, reducing the risk of cable fatigue over time.

Components of an ADSS Dead-End Tension Assembly Clamp:

  1. Dead-End Clamp Body:
    • The main body of the clamp that holds the cable in place. It is typically preformed or helical in shape, designed to grip the cable firmly when tension is applied.
  2. Thimble Clevis or Eye:
    • This component connects the dead-end clamp to the supporting structure, such as a pole or tower. It ensures a secure and flexible attachment point.
  3. Armor Rods or Preformed Rods:
    • These rods wrap around the ADSS cable, providing additional protection and load distribution. They prevent the cable from being crushed or kinked at the clamp point.
  4. Dead-End Grips:
    • Preformed grips that are applied over the cable and the clamp, securing the cable by friction and distributing the tensile load evenly along the cable.
