Fiber Optic Patch Cord is also known as Fiber Optic Jumper or Fiber Optic Patch Cord. It is composed of a fiber optic cable terminated with different connectors on the ends. For the Fiber Patch Cables, there are two major application areas which are computer work station to outlet and fiber optic patch panels or optical cross connect distribution center. We provide various types of fiber patch cords including single mode, multimode, multi core, and armored versions. You can aslo find fiber optic pigtails and other special patch cables here, even we supply MPO/MTP fiber cables. Our Fiber Patch Cables are standard terminated with LC/SC/ST/FC/MTRJ/MU/SMA connectors on both ends.

- Connector Types:
- SC (Subscriber Connector): A square-shaped connector with a push-pull mechanism, commonly used in both single-mode and multimode fiber networks. It is known for its durability and low insertion loss.
- LC (Lucent Connector): A smaller, compact connector that is widely used in high-density applications. LC connectors are popular due to their size and the fact that they can double the port density compared to SC connectors.
- ST (Straight Tip): A round, bayonet-style connector, primarily used in multimode networks and legacy systems.
- FC (Ferrule Connector): A connector with a screw-on mechanism, often used in single-mode networks for its secure connection and resistance to vibration.
- MPO/MTP (Multi-fiber Push On/Mechanical Transfer Push On): High-density connectors that can connect multiple fibers simultaneously, used in data centers and high-capacity networks.
- Fiber Type:
- Single-mode Fiber (SMF): Used for long-distance transmission, typically over 10 kilometers, with a small core size (around 9 µm). Single-mode patch cords are used in applications such as telecommunications, long-haul data transfer, and high-speed internet services.
- Multimode Fiber (MMF): Used for shorter distances, typically up to 550 meters for OM4 grade fiber. Multimode patch cords have a larger core size (50 µm or 62.5 µm) and are used in applications such as local area networks (LANs), data centers, and campus networks.
